Congratulations to the top writers from our 2012 statewide writing contest: Noah Williams, Laura Holt and Sarah Mariski. Noah’s piece, Just Cold Enough for Comfort, was the winner of our prose contest and was selected by the editorial staff at Maine Magazine as the overall winner. Laura Holt’s poem, My Real Maine, won our poetry prize while Sarah’s piece, Thinking of Maine, was the prose runner-up. Excerpts from the winners will appear in the May issue of Maine Magazine. Congratulations to these and all of the talented writers who participated!
